About 4 Eden Projects
Here at 4Eden we create opportunities for young people and adults to explore their interests, build their skills and confidence and be a valued part of our local community. Through our projects we aim to reduce the support on paid services and increase opportunities to get involved in various groups, clubs, and volunteering.
GrowIT develops their gardening skills and knowledge, using our own allotment. We also support the students to use these skills within the 4Eden garden and their local community.
BakeIT is based in our day services, basic cooking skills, food hygiene and testing out menus thereby improving cooking skills to adults with a view to moving on to real work.
UdoIT enables working towards and maintaining greater independence skills, trying new opportunities and working together with others in a social setting.

Our Café at St. Andrews Parish Centre is open to the public and providing our own employment for those we support. We teach them how to use their own skills and talent to do good work, get better at what they do and then get employment.
Fully operational 6 days a week and special events days make this the perfect opportunity for a paid job.
Working with people and local employer’s mentoring through a project developing their employability skills, setting up work placements, supporting the placement and moving on to paid employment.
My Community – Penrith mission is to create a more inclusive and accessible community for people with learning disabilities in Penrith. We do this by working with the community to raise awareness, provide resources, and promote understanding and acceptance.
