Based in Penrith Parish Centre, St. Andrews Place and are currently open from Monday to Friday, 10 am – 4 pm. We provide a delicious menu of homemade and handcrafted goodies supplied by our own bakery – Bake4Eden, a short distance from the Café.

Throughout the day – we serve good coffees, teas and various chilled refreshments – we make all our own foods to our own recipes and we love what we do!

Several of our guys who have been training in Café Inspire are now ready for the next stage in their career development so now training to serve the public. Say ‘hello’ to our guys in the blue Trainee aprons – you’re sure to get a beaming smile back 🙂

Today, we focus on our butter 🧈 some customers ask for more butter, which we are happy to provide, but we charge extra…why 🧐🤔

We aim to use the best quality we can find, locally. We make our own recipes daily, using the finest ingredients and we use locally make quality butter - made in Kendal. The butter taste is far superior to that of the small mass produced butter that most caterers provide. Cost - nothing comes though the front door for free…. So we do make a charge for everything additional to the price we have costed. We include 1 superior butter portion (13 grams) additional butter are 30p, but these larger portion butters more then twice the size of two of the smaller ones. If you look at the difference between the standard butter (6 grams) you find in other cafes compared to our suburb local butter you will understand the cost difference. Enjoy your scone 😋😋 ... I love Winter Tarn butter. It’s the best.❤️

Totally agree especially as people often just waste!

What others say about Café4Eden

Fabulous breakfast of ciabatta roll with bacon (the bacon was cooked to perfection) Fabulous choice of teapigs to choose from, but for me the best part by far was the use of local made pottery to serve the food and drinks (all of which you can buy from Brougham Hall pottery should you wish to treat yourself) Cafe 4Eden are driven by a view to helping local community – I’d highly recommend dropping in for stone soup or a cuppa. It was our first visit under the new ownership (and Kim’s footsteps are hard to fill) but it’s a 10/10 from us – we’ll definitely be back ?
